Health Facilities
Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education is committed to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of its students and staff. The college provides various health-care facilities, insurance schemes, and preventive health programmes to ensure a safe and healthy campus environment.
1. Student Insurance Scheme
The college provides an insurance scheme for students at an annual contribution of Rs 75 per student. The scheme provides coverage for sports injuries and other accidental incidents occurring on the college campus, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
2. Staff Medical Claim – Self-Finance
A Staff Medical Claim Scheme is available to employees without any additional cost to the staff. The scheme provides medical support for sports injuries and other incidents occurring on the college campus, as per the applicable institutional provisions.
3. New Health Insurance Scheme (Aided)
The college provides a New Health Insurance Scheme for staff members at a contribution of Rs 390 per month per person. The scheme provides:
- Medical insurance coverage for family members including spouse and two children.
- Financial protection against eligible medical expenses.
- Rs 27 lakh death-in-service benefit, subject to the terms and conditions of the scheme.
4. Group Insurance Scheme (Aided)
A Group Insurance Scheme is also available for staff members at a contribution of Rs 110 per month per person. The scheme provides a death-in-service benefit of Rs 5 lakh, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
5. Dispensary Facility (All Staffs)
The college provides an on-campus dispensary facility to attend to the immediate health-care needs of students and staff. Basic medical assistance and first-aid services are made available during college activities and sports programmes.
6. Dental Health Camp (All Staffs)
The college organizes Dental Health Camps periodically to promote oral hygiene and dental health among students and staff. Dental screening and basic professional guidance are provided as part of the programme.
7. Eye Health Camp (All Staffs)
Eye Health Camps are organized to facilitate periodic vision screening and promote awareness of eye health among students and staff.
8. General Health Check-up (All Staffs)
The college conducts General Health Check-up Camps periodically for students and staff. These programmes help in the early identification of common health concerns and encourage students and employees to maintain healthy lifestyles.
